Presenting the Bass Connections Annual Report
October 2, 2017
Last year, 43 Bass Connections project teams brought together faculty, postdocs, graduate students and undergraduates to tackle complex societal challenges. Faculty came from every school at Duke. There were also 50 summer research projects in addition to numerous courses and other experiences.
Check out the Bass Connections 2016-2017 Annual Report to learn more about this university-wide program, including the answers to such questions as:
- What’s the Bass Connections model?
- Where have teams worked around the world and in the U.S.?
- What kinds of outcomes do teams produce?
- Who received grants and awards last year?
- And more!
We are enormously proud of the teams and their accomplishments, and we thank all of last year’s participants for their contributions. As a whole, Bass Connections depends on the energy and ingenuity of our faculty, students, staff and community partners, as well as the steadfast support of our donors. We are grateful to everyone whose hard work has shaped this new model of integrating education, research and outreach.
