Check out the following in-person opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to learn more about Bass Connections project teams and Story+ summer projects, prior to their application deadlines in February.
Bass Connections Fair
Wednesday, January 24, 2:30 to 5:30, Energy Hub on the first floor of Gross Hall
Learn more about the Bass Connections project teams for 2018-19. Team leaders, advisors and staff will be available to share information and answer questions. Stop by, enjoy a bite to eat and check out the new projects.
Story+ Info Session
Thursday, January 25, 4:00 to 5:30, Rubenstein Library 153, Holsti-Anderson Room
Interested in a paid Summer Session I opportunity to tell stories from research? Come to an info session to find out about the Story+ summer research program. We'll have snacks, a short video presentation, a Q&A with former participants and a chance for you to speak to project sponsors.
For Humanities PhD students: Info Session on Bass Connections and Story+ Research Opportunities

Are you a doctoral student in the humanities or humanistic social sciences intrigued about collaborative research opportunities? Would you like to gain more experience in mentoring undergraduates, managing complex projects, exploring beyond your discipline or working closely with faculty members and/or external partners? If so, join us for an info session (with lunch) on the new Bass Connections and Story+ projects. Please register so we can plan for lunch accordingly.

All Duke students are invited to join us to learn more about what Bass Connections has to offer aspiring engineers of all levels. Current and former members of Bass Connections teams working on engineering-related projects will be in attendance to share their experiences and answer questions.

All Duke undergraduates and graduate/professional students are invited to join us for an info session that will include a general overview of Bass Connections as well as reflections from a panel of current and former participants. Stick around afterward to chat with panelists and grab a quick snack!
