Energy Efficiency in Industry: High-tech Glass Manufacturing at Corning Inc. (2016-2017)I graduated from Duke Nicholas School this May, and I am currently researching at a think tank based in Washington D.C. One of the things I look back that I am glad I did during my master’s at Duke was signing up for Bass Connections. The project not only involved solving a real-world problem using skills learned in classes, but it also had to do with working closely with clients and collaborating with students from different academic backgrounds. These experiences have helped me tremendously because I am faced with that every day in my job, where I collaborate on research with people across multiple disciplines and communicate with various clients.
