Creative Strategies for Public Schools
The University-Assisted Community Schools team partnered with NC Community Schools Coalition to help Fayetteville Street Elementary in Durham open a new resource center that empowers families through providing resources, connections, learning opportunities and more.

Storytelling Our Latinx Community
Fandango de Durham is a grassroots cultural gathering in Durham, NC, centered on the Mexican musical tradition of son jarocho. It's grown into a nationally recognized event, now supported by a Bass Connections team that conducts oral history interviews, coordinates community outreach and works alongside longtime community leaders. Collaborative Project Courses
Through a partnership with the Center for Teaching and Learning, Bass Connections welcomes the fourth cohort of Collaborative Project Course Faculty Fellows. 15 faculty across 7 Duke schools will reimagine an existing course or design a completely new course in which students will work together in teams to explore, research and create projects.
