Works in Progress Event to Highlight Research Related to COVID-19

Please join us on March 2 for the first-ever Bass Connections Works in Progress Symposium

Works in Progress.

This virtual event will feature presentations by student team members from eight 2020-2021 Bass Connections project teams that are currently tackling research related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each team will begin by giving a short presentation of their work to date. Presentations will be followed by an open discussion during which team members will solicit input and advice and audience members can ask questions and offer feedback. The goal of this symposium is to generate supportive, open discussion that can help teams advance their research, make connections and examine their work from new points of view.

The symposium will have several concurrent sessions taking place on March 2 from 12:00-12:45, 5:00-5:45 and 5:45-6:30 p.m. EST. Please see the table below for session times for each team. Attendees are welcome to join as many sessions as they like.

Please register here to receive Zoom links and passcodes. Please note that each team will have its own Zoom access link, but the passcode will be the same for all rooms.

These discussions are open to the Duke community and the general public. We welcome students, faculty/staff, alumni, supporters, external community partners, family members and other interested individuals.
