Chronicle Editorial: Bleeding tuition dollars

On March 16th, the Chronicle Editorial Board published a piece reflecting on the 4% hike in undergraduate tuition for Duke students. The article weighs the university's justifications, both academic and social, for these rising costs. Although it calls for more open justification in Duke's spending on student life and the student experience, other new student perks are lauded for providing new windows of opportunities on campus, including the expansion of the Bass Connections program.
