Beyond the 13 Colonies: Philip Stern Invites Students to Rethink the Worlds of 1776

This year, nine project teams are participating in research that directly engages with AI, discovering how AI can bring Duke and DKU closer, make academic publishing fairer, help us understand the past, offer insights into medical research and more.

This Bass Connections team examined how AI embeddings represent meaning and how those meanings shift across time and languages, culminating in an interactive exhibit to help the public explore and understand these changes.
