“Our students are working in this project not really as direct students but as our colleagues and collaborators,” says Professor Sina Farsiu of the students in the Bass Connections Art, Vision and the Brain project team.

This project, part of the Bass Connections Brain & Society theme, explores how the brain sees and makes sense of art. As one team member puts it, “Artists and scientists have had a long legacy of working together to explore ways that we see, and one doesn’t have art without the brain to perceive it.”
