Hi, my name is Larry Lee! I’m a senior at Duke University with a double major in Neuroscience and Global Health and I am one of the four undergraduate research assistants on this Bass Connections team. I have worked with kids all throughout high school and college, specifically with middle school kids volunteering at local Boys and Girls clubs and also summer programs helping students in low-income households gain scholarships for private high schools and colleges.

Recently, I came back from a trip to Lithuania working at a pediatric hospital, specifically in the neuroscience department, and I am interested in finding ways to alleviate autistic symptoms through neurological pathways since autism is such a broad disorder.

I am excited to be a part of this team and hopefully use some of my background knowledge in research with neuroscience to better understand autism as a whole. I’m hoping that with this in mind we can better implement the program and create a dynamic living program that can change and cater to each individual.
