I majored in environmental sciences because I am interested in environmental health. Global health allowed me to broaden the health aspect of my studies. I learned about Professor Bill Pan’s project in Peru, and it seemed like an amazing way to integrate environmental health and epidemiology. I hope the research and data that we’re gathering will help advance the research projects. I also had the opportunity to join Professor Greg Gray’s virology lab, where we’re studying infectious diseases.
