Project Team

Currently, my research interests involve examining students’ K-12 experiences, perceptions of discrimination, ethnic/racial identity beliefs, and academic outcomes.

I joined this Bass Connections project because, growing up, I saw firsthand how many of my peers were impacted by tracking and either ended up dropping out of high school or never made it to college.

I want to dedicate my academic work towards shedding light on the issues facing students in public schools and, by examining how tracking impacts students and their beliefs about their academic abilities, this research project allows me to do just that.
