Bass Connections Call for Proposals
Bass Connections welcomes project team proposals for the 2016-2017 academic year. Teams should be interdisciplinary, problem-based and vertically integrated. Proposals are due by November 6.
Special opportunities
Ethics: For the third consecutive year, the Kenan Institute for Ethics is partnering with Bass Connections and offering additional support on projects relating to ethics.
Humanities: The Franklin Humanities Institute will partner with project teams that have a humanities focus and feature historical perspectives, diverse language processes and products or aesthetic dimensions of reflection.
Education & Human Development: For proposals submitted to the Education & Human Development theme, supplemental funding is available from the Education and Human Development Incubator (EHDi) to enhance project teams conducting research in one or more of the following priority areas:
- State and local community engagement
- Higher education and the transition to adulthood
- Educational inequality
- Child mental health, physical health, and social adjustment.
